Eyvind Earle – “Enchanted Coast”

Eyvind Earle (1916–2000)

Enchanted Coast

Signed & Numbered Limited Edition Serigraph

A celebrated painter, illustrator, and designer, Eyvind Earle is best known for creating the distinctive visual style of Disney’s Sleeping Beauty. During his career he also produced the backgrounds for Peter Pan, Lady and the Tramp, Paul Bunyan, and the Academy Award-winning short Toot, Whistle, Plunk and Boom. Beyond animation, Earle enjoyed an acclaimed fine art career, with works held in museum and private collections worldwide.

Returning to fine art full-time in the 1960s, Earle began producing limited-edition serigraphs in 1974. Unlike giclée prints, serigraphs are created by hand, with each color individually pulled through its own screen—often requiring more than 50 screens for a single image. The result is exceptional color richness, depth, and texture, making each print a handcrafted work of art.

Enchanted Coast exemplifies Earle’s unmistakable style—bold color, intricate patterns, and luminous landscapes that continue to captivate collectors decades after their creation.
