For a 16 x 20 reference project, everyday custom framing generally runs $150 to $300. Upgraded framing typically falls in the $300 to $500 range. Conservation framing starts at $500 and up. Larger sizes, shadow boxes, specialty materials, and complex preservation projects are quoted individually.

Everyday custom framing is a practical frame package for posters, children's art, school photos, prints, photographs, and decorative work. It still includes a custom design conversation, quality materials, and a clean, thoughtful presentation.

How long does custom framing take?

Accepted Answer

Most custom framing projects take 3 to 4 weeks. We complete projects in the order they are received, so everyday and upgraded framing generally share the same production timeline. Conservation framing, shadow boxes, oversized work, and specialty projects require additional handling and are typically estimated at 6 to 8 weeks.

A pricing guide can tell you what something costs. A design consultation helps determine what your specific piece actually needs. We look at the artwork, its value, condition, materials, size, and where it will live before recommending a framing approach.

Do I need conservation glazing?

Accepted Answer

Conservation glazing helps protect artwork, photographs, textiles, documents, jerseys, and other meaningful pieces from UV-related fading. For originals, signed prints, family photographs, heirlooms, or anything with sentimental or financial value, conservation glazing is usually worth considering. We will show you the options at the counter.

Can you frame jerseys, medals, or three-dimensional objects?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Eye Candy Gallery frames sports jerseys, military medals, wedding bouquets, christening gowns, diplomas, vinyl records, antique maps, and keepsakes in custom shadow boxes. Because these pieces vary so much in size, depth, mounting needs, and preservation concerns, shadow boxes are quoted individually.

Do I need an appointment for custom framing, or can I walk in?
