Warren Henry Lewis

Warren Henry Lewis was born a neurotic New Yorker and has been traveling the world for the last 35 years. He's done marathons, triathlons, Renaissance Festivals, sky dived and SCUBA dived. He has climbed active volcanoes, been lowered into a cenote and stood on the equator. He's been nearly stranded at the North Pole, and stared down a European Brown Bear. He has buried himself in snow, dodged an elephant's trunk and been challenged by Belarusian soldiers to get the image he visualized. 

Warren is known for his spectacular landscape and intimate wildlife photography in remote, locations including Iceland and Svalbard, Norway and South Africa, as well as in his hometown.

Warren's work was recently featured in our gallery in an immensely popular show, "Wild Portraits."  Currently his artistic focus is on wildlife portrait photography with a powerful narrative that highlights both the splendor and vulnerability of wildlife. He crafts each image as a vivid exploration of wildlife, capturing fleeting moments of grace, intensity, and character that reveal the soul of its subjects. These portraits transcend the typical wildlife imagery, offering a fresh perspective on the intricate and often unseen personalities of animals.
