Stephanie Slack

Stephanie Slack is an award-winning 24 year old artist who began her formal art education as an 11 year old with great enthusiasm for all things artistic. In 2024, she earned her  Bachelor of Fine Arts at East Carolina University with a concentration in painting and drawing. She plans to earn a Master of Fine Arts in the future.

Stephanie has always been creative and now traditionally paints in oils, but finds time to practice several other mediums like textiles, watercolor and pastel. Her subject matter varies tremendously, although painting figures and representations of her own memories are themes that she often returns to. For Stephanie, art is about recording moments and seasons in her life in ways that can be shared with the world.

Stephanie is also a skilled custom framer and is currently the lead framer at Eye Candy Gallery & Framing.
