We're thrilled to announce a special raffle to support disaster relief efforts in Western North Carolina after Hurricane Helene. Eye Candy Gallery is raffling a stunning 48x48" painting of the Blue Ridge Mountains generously donated by award-winning NC artist Stephanie Slack.
The raffle is part of our ongoing commitment to help those impacted by the storm, with 100% of the proceeds going directly to (split equally) the NC Arts Disaster Relief Fund and Beloved Asheville. These organizations provide vital resources and support to artists and communities working to recover from the disaster.
OUR FUNDRAISING GOAL IS $5000. PLEASE SHARE THIS FAR AND WIDE!
Your ticket purchase not only gives you a chance to win this incredible painting but also helps artists and communities rebuild and thrive. Together, we can make a difference!
If you are in the area, feel free to stop in during gallery hours (Tuesday - Saturday: 11 am - 5 pm) to view the painting.
Please Note: We can only ship within the United States and Canada. If the raffle winner resides in Alaska, Hawaii, or Canada, it will be removed from the stretcher bars and shipped rolled for safe and economical delivery.
Administered by the NC Arts Council.
"Hurricane Helene has caused massive damage across western North Carolina, killing dozens of people, and devastating millions by destroying homes, businesses, roads, bridges, and crippling communications and other infrastructure. Arts North Carolina will be working with government agencies and other nonprofits to assess the impact on artists and arts organizations and to help provide relief and recovery in the weeks and months ahead."
"Hurricane Helene has left a wake of devastation and tragedy. Through this hardship, we’ve been surrounded by stories of generosity and solidarity, pouring in from across the nation.
We are dedicating all of our resources to help everyone in our mountain home. Our immediate focus has been on critical necessities like food, water, and healthcare for survival and stability.
As winter looms, we are securing warm and safe housing for the displaced. Looking further ahead, recovery from the vast destruction will be a large-scale investment over several years. We believe that we can unite to rebuild a community that embodies home, health, equity, and opportunity for all."
