A world wanderer and North Carolina native, artist Elizabeth Schilling majored in Studio Arts at Sandhills Community College. Inspired by the avant-garde works of Robert Rauschenberg and Joseph Cornell, Liz loves creating art that fosters thinking, questioning, and a good dose of rumination.
Liz works in a wide range of mediums including (but never limited to) oils, mixed media, assemblage, watercolors, and fiber. Her love of travel and natural curiosity for the world around us is always evident as she presents us with unusual subjects, angles, and perspectives (both the architectural and philosophical kinds).
