About our timeline

Most custom framing projects take 3 to 4 weeks. We complete projects in the order they are received, so everyday and upgraded framing generally share the same production timeline. Conservation framing, shadow boxes, oversized work, and specialty projects require additional handling and are typically estimated at 6 to 8 weeks.

Pricing reflects 16 x 20 reference projects as of 2026. Final cost varies based on size, materials, glazing, and complexity. Larger sizes, shadow boxes, conservation framing, and specialty work are quoted individually.

How does the custom framing process work?
Bring in your piece (artwork, photo, jersey, diploma, memorabilia, needlework, etc.) and we’ll walk you through frame styles, mat colors, and glass options in person. We’ll give you a firm quote before any work begins.

How long does custom framing take?
Most orders take 3-4 weeks, depending on the complexity of the piece and materials on order. During the Holiday season (early November through mid-January) orders may take up to 4-6 weeks so please visit early! Rush service may be available — just ask.

Do you offer UV-protective or museum glass?
Yes. We offer standard glass, UV-filtering glass, and museum-quality glass that reduces glare and protects against fading. We’ll recommend the right option based on the piece and where it’ll hang.

Can you frame irregular or 3D items?
Yes — jerseys, medals, diplomas, needlework, and other keepsakes can be shadow-boxed or specially mounted. Bring the item in and we’ll design a display that fits it properly.

Will framing damage my original artwork or photo?
No. We use archival, acid-free mats and mounting methods so your piece isn’t damaged and stays preservation-quality over time.

Do I need an appointment for a custom framing consultation?
Walk-ins are welcome, but appointments are recommended for larger projects or if you want extra time to compare options without a wait.

Can I bring in my own frame or just get matting done?
Yes, we can work with pieces you already have framed or provide matting and mounting services separately if you don’t need a full frame.

Do you offer ready-made frames too?
Yes, alongside custom work we carry a small selection of ready-made photo frames in 5×7 and 8×10 sizes.

What’s your return or satisfaction policy?
Because each piece is custom-made, we ask you to review the design and mockup before we begin. If something isn’t right at pickup, let us know right away and we’ll make it right.

How do I get a quote or start a project?
Stop by the gallery with your piece, or schedule a consultation appointment through our website and we can get you started.

Can you quote my framing project over the phone?

Because every framing project is custom designed, we don’t believe in guessing. Seeing your artwork in person allows us to accurately measure it, evaluate any special preservation needs, and walk you through frame, mat, and glass options that complement both the artwork and your budget. That means you’ll receive a quote that’s accurate—without surprises later on.

We’re happy to discuss your project by phone and provide a general price range whenever possible, but an exact quote requires an in-person consultation. There is no obligation to purchase—we’re happy to explore your options and provide a detailed estimate so you can make an informed decision.
